Diane Potter

Surrounded by her family, Diane Elizabeth Potter passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February

15th, 2022 at the age of 75.

Born to Elmer Alvin Wattle Jr. and Eula “Faye” Viola (Johnson) Wattle on September 14, 1946,

Diane was raised near Caruthersville, Missouri along with her two brothers Sonny and Scotty

Wattle. She later met and married Denny Vern Potter on December 16th, 1971 in Claremore,

OK where together they raised 6 children.

Diane excelled at all of her creative endeavors such as painting, drawing, photography, sewing,

and stained glass to name just a few. But her greatest achievement was being a loving and

supportive mother for her children and sometimes for the neighborhood kids as well. Her door

was always open for a visit, good advice, and a glass of the best sweet tea that only she could

make.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Faye, her husband Denny, her brother

Scotty, and one grandson, Quinton Willis.

She was survived by her children Roger Willis (Zolly), Thomas Willis (Dana), Robert Willis

(Pam), John Potter, Melissa Potthier, Joseph Potter, and many grandchildren, great

grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
