Wanda Lae Miller

Wanda L. Miller was born on November 28, 1943, in Spavinaw, Oklahoma, to Thelma Muskrat and Tom Shaw. She passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, at the age of 82.Wanda married the love of her life, Jerry Leroy Miller of Eucha, Oklahoma. Together they owned and operated Evergreen Nursery for more than 25 years while raising their family. Following Jerry's passing, Wanda relocated to Bartlesville, Oklahoma, where she attended LPN school and devoted her career to caring for others. She worked in home health and later retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Jane Phillips Medical Center.

In her later years, Wanda found companionship and adventure with T.J. Washer. Together they enjoyed traveling, making memories, and sharing life's simple joys. Wanda had a gift for making friends wherever she went. It seemed there wasn't a place she could go without running into someone who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her warm heart, quick wit, and the genuine way she connected with people.

She loved gardening, keeping an immaculate lawn, feeding her hummingbirds, browsing estate sales, traveling, and meeting up with friends at the casino. More than any hobby or pastime, however, Wanda treasured her family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life, and she never missed an opportunity to love, encourage, and celebrate them. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Leroy Miller; her beloved companion, T.J. Washer; her grandson, Eathan Miller; and her parents, Thelma Muskrat and Tom Shaw.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Miller, Cindy Miller, and Rita Parsons, along with her beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, and many friends whose lives she touched throughout the years. Wanda's legacy of love, kindness, laughter, and devotion to family will live on in all who knew her.
