Trellys Oleyta Line, age 96 and resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 in the Bartlesville Health & Rehab Facility.

Trellys was born on April 19, 1922 in Ringling, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of George W. Williams and Oleyta P. (Kennedy) Williams. She grew up in the Cushing, Oklahoma area where she attended elementary, junior and senior high school. She graduated from Cushing High School with the Senior Class of 1940. After high school, she furthered her education by attending Oklahoma A&M College (now Oklahoma State University) in Stillwater, Oklahoma until World War II began.

Trellys was first employed at E.I. DuPont deNomore in Pryor, Oklahoma in the U.S. Savings Bond department of the payroll department. She transferred to Hanford Ordinance Work in the payroll department for a short time, later working at Douglas Aircraft Plant ending up war assets for government inventory of all war surplus.
On January 17, 1946, Trellys and Claude Whitney Line were united in marriage at Winfield, Kansas. It was the same year that she became an employee of Stanolind Oil and Gas in the payroll and personnel department in Tulsa where she worked until 1952. At that time, her husband, Claude, was transferred to Houston and she was transferred by Stanoline Oil and Gas to Standard Oil Company, safety department, in Houston where she remained until she retired in 1955 when Mr. Line was transferred by Phillips Petroleum Company to Kansas City, Missouri.

Trellys was a member of Bartlesville First United Methodist Church (now Bartlesville First Church). She was very active in the Bartlesville Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 142; Redbud Garden Club member where she was also a past president. Other memberships include Bartlesville Garden Club Council, First woman president of Twentieth Century Sunday School Class of First United Methodist Church, and membership in the Genealogy Society.

Survivors include five nieces and nephews; many grand-nieces and nephews; and one step-daughter, Barbara Louise Strunk. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Claude; two sisters, Novella Ellege and Georgia Thompson; three brothers, Garman Cortez Williams, R. Cozelle Williams and O.L. Lavonzo Williams.

No services are planned at this time. Memorial gifts may be made in her name to Bartlesville First Church, 4715 Price Rd., Bartlesville, OK 74006.
