Sheila Ropp

Sheila Kaye Templeton Ropp passed away October 5, 2021, at her home in Bartlesville. She was born August 14, 1944, to Ruby Cone Templeton and Barton Templeton. Sheila was born and raised in Bartlesville, with the exception of 10 yrs in Blackwell, OK. Sheila married Lester Ropp Sept. 1, 1961, and they raised 6 kids.

Sheila loved to paint and draw, and she loved to teach that skill to her granddaughters. She would display their pictures up and down the hall. Sheila also taught her grandchildren how to play chess. She was so proud when they beat her. Sheila loved to cook, bake, and planned big meals for her family and friends. Sheila also loved flowers and gardening and grew her own herbs. She loved ice skating on TV and even got to watch it live.

She was survived by her children; Shelest Ropp Longnecker (Robert), Destry Ropp, Whitney Ropp Barnes (James), Brad Billingsley (Heather), Gannon Ropp (Sunnye), Morgan Ropp Jenkins (Chad), 15 grandchildren; Carrington and Kayeley Ropp, Brayden Conover, Peyton Ropp, Tanner Ropp, Ashley Moore, Taylor and Cale Longnecker, Hunter, Haileigh, Addison, and Kamryn Jenkins, Gage and Jack Billingsley, Abigail Adamson, great-grandchildren; AJ and Ava Moore, Iris and Samson Habler, Gavin Ropp, and Conner Barnes. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, 2 brothers, and her beloved husband Lester.

Memorial Services for Sheila will be held Saturday October 30, at 1:00 pm in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Chapel. Online condolences can be left at www.honoringmemories.com.
