At that time, he went to work for Farm Fresh Dairy and Bakery Company, supervising sales in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. By 2012, Dick tried another turn at retirement and moved to Bartlesville. His love for people landed employment with the Osage Casino where he worked until 2014. On January 7, 2015, Dick went to work for Cherokee Casino in Ramona, Oklahoma.
Dick and Mary Adkins were joined in marriage on June 5, 1990, in Bedford, Texas. The couple made their home in Bartlesville since 2012. Dick was a great husband, dad, and grandpa (Pop). He loved dancing and music, especially rock’n’roll. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran; an avid Oklahoma Sooners’ fan; a collector of Hot Wheels, Star Wars and records. Dick liked to play the slots and was a very organized and neat man, known for his tremendous work ethic.
