Linda Rigney Conaway was born on March 2, 1953, in Borger, Hutchinson County, Texas, to the late Robert E. Rigney and Norma “June” Smith. She departed this life on March 25, 2026, at The Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loved ones. Linda earned a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She married William “Rick” Conaway on April 2, 1998, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Linda spent many years working at Phillips Petroleum Company and Hillcrest Country Club, where she was appreciated not only for her hard work but also for her kind spirit and warm personality. In addition to her professional life, she devoted many years as a homemaker, caring for her family with love and dedication. She brought that same care and commitment to all she did and left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
In her later years, Linda had a keen eye for style and delighted in browsing stores like T.J. Maxx and Ross, where she found special pieces that brought warmth and personality to her home. She cherished time with her grandchildren and held dear the lifelong friendships that meant so much to her. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, swimming, and unwinding with fashion games on her phone. Deeply devoted to her family, she was a constant and loving presence in the lives of her children and grandchildren, leaving behind a lasting legacy of love, care, and connection.
Linda is survived by her husband of 27 years, William “Rick” Conaway; her loving children, Robert “Robby” House and Lisa House; and her sister, Janet Stieben. She was a cherished grandmother to six wonderful grandchildren: Jade, Hailey, Tyler, Kaden, Bella, and Robert, and was joyfully anticipating the arrival of her first great-grandchild in June 2026. She is also remembered by many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Linda touched the lives of all who had the honor of knowing her. Her selflessness, warmth, and generous spirit will be remembered always.
