Judith Ann Lynn

Judith Ann Lynn, 78, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away in Tulsa at the Ascension St. John Medical Center on Monday, June 7, 2025.

On February 23, 1947, Judith was born to John Hamlin and Dorothy (Sewell) Hamlin in Boulder, Colorado. Judith graduated from Boulder High School. She later moved to California, where she lived for several years.

Later in life, Judith met JC Lynn and the couple were united in marriage. In 1991, Judith relocated to Oklahoma to a farm in Nowata County, where JC had a cattle operation. The couple enjoyed working cattle and farming together for many years before JC’s passing in 2015. Judith worked at Walmart for 10 years before retiring at the age of 70.

In her free time, Judith enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was gardening or searching for rocks. She also enjoyed painting and cooking. In her older years, Judith found a group of ladies that she enjoyed spending time with. The group enjoyed doing things together like going to the Senior Citizens Center and eating breakfast at Braums. Judith loved her family and her most precious moments were spent with her great-grandchildren and her family. She will be greatly missed by those that loved her.

Judith is preceded in death by her parents: John and Dorothy Hamlin; her husband: JC Lynn; her son: Barry Gotschall; her grandson: Benjamin Hunter; her granddaughter: Jacinda Hunter; and her siblings: John Hamlin and Dwayne Hamlin.

Those left to cherish the memory of Judith include her children: Tammy Evans, Brian Gotschall, and Dottie Braschler; her sister: Janette “Opal” Smith; her 7 grandchildren; her 8 great-grandchildren, along with other family members and many great friends.
