Funeral services for Juanita Jewell (Thompson) Jordan are 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Greater Union Baptist Church in Tulsa with Apostle Cornell Fox officiating.

Juanita Jewell (Thompson) Jordan left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born February 13, 1947 in Alluwe, Oklahoma to Floyd Alvin Thompson and Verna Belle Thompson. Juanita attended and graduated from Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville.

Juanita accepted her call to the ministry in 2008, where she enjoyed her church and teaching the bible to others. Juanita was a very loving and caring lady, who did not mind lending a helping hand when needed. In her spare time, she loved to tend to her hobbies of sewing, baking, fishing, spending time with her family, friends and spoiling her grandchildren. She had a special place in her heart for everyone she cared about. Juanita was a much-loved person that will be missed by all who knew her.

Juanita is survived by her five children: Stace Thompson and wife Sonia, Jayme Thompson, Harrison Thompson and wife Tabatha, Shauntele Thompson, Tanisha Pearson; six siblings: Charlotte Crawford, Eddie Thompson, Robert Thompson and wife Carolyn, Claudia Thompson, Meldon Thompson, Michael Thompson and wife Stacy, twenty one grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Floyd Thompson and Verna Thompson, three siblings: Richard Thompson, Arvon Thompson Sr., Julianne Thompson, and her grandson Jayme Thompson II.
