Jean Hoskinson

Jean Hill Hoskinson peacefully passed away on Monday June 21, 2021 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Jean was born in Bartlesville on September 8, 1928 to W.W. “Dock” Hill and Nellie Metcalf Hill. She grew up in Bartlesville and graduated from College High in 1946, then went on to attend Bartlesville Junior College. In 1951 Jean married H.D. “Doug” Hoskinson. They traveled with Doug's work for the next four years living everywhere from Spokane to Chicago and many points in between before returning to Bartlesville to raise their family.

Jean was a very accomplished business women in banking working as a corporate secretary and assistant vice president for WestStar Bank, retiring in 1991. She served on several boards including League of Women Voters, Bartlesville Civic Ballet, Allied Arts and Humanities Council, National Association of Bank Women, and American Heart Association (State Board of Directors),

Jean loved traveling, reading, classical music, her church, her family and many wonderful friends.

She is survived by her two sons; Clayton, his wife Marcia and son Jason Hoskinson of Norman, Oklahoma and Clark and his wife Kathryn Hoskinson of San Antonio, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Dock and Nellie, and her beloved husband Doug.
