Jack Edwin Smith, sixty-six passed away October 14, 2020, in Miami, Oklahoma. He was born in Pryor, Oklahoma on February 18, 1954, the son of John Edward Smith and Shirley Mae (Boling) Smith. Jack was raised in Pensacola and attended school in Big Cabin; after graduating from Big Cabin High School he became a mechanic by trade. Jack enjoyed flying small airplanes, playing the guitar, and music.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving family include cousins, LaDonna Sumner of Vinita, Ron Boling of Vinita, Dr. Fred Boling and wife Wilma of Hot Springs, Arkansas, David Boling of Alabama, Paul Boling of Houston, Texas, Mark Boling of Oklahoma, Amy Blassingame of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Partner-in-Life Mary Mosby, Daughter Jacqueline Melton, granddaughter Aaliyah Groover, Caliahna Simpson, Erykah Talley, Great granddaughters Laila Lewis, Emilia Groover, Riley Lewis. along with numerous friends in Vinita, Big Cabin, and Grand lake area.
