Horace Ray Dixon

Horace Ray Dixon passed away Friday, July 28, 2023, in Bartlesville, OK. Horace was born October 7, 1945, in Abbeville, Mississippi, to Tom and Texanna (Fisher) Dixon.

He joined the Army after high school. After his discharge, he worked as a carpenter. Horace moved to Bartlesville with his family in 1980. He spent his free time gardening, reading, and helping others. He was a mentor and an evangelist. He loved his family deeply and will be greatly missed.

Horace is survived by three sons: Keith (Latisha) Dixon of Jupiter, FL, Ray Dixon of CA, and Jentzen Dixon of Bartlesville; six daughters Tammy Morris (Glenn) of FL, Lakeyta Dixon of Bartlesville, Tonita Flowers (Terry) of TX, Desirae Dixon of MO, Raeleigh Dixon of Bartlesville, and Raegan Dixon of Bartlesville; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Texanna, and his wife.

The visitation is Thursday from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm at Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, 710 S. Dewey Ave., Bartlesville. Funeral Service is Friday at 1:00 pm at Bartlesville First Wesleyan Church, 1776 Silver Lake Road.
