Grover George Odell Jr, 52, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026, at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Grover was born on July 25, 1973, to Grover George Odell, Sr. and Pansy (Patton) Odell in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He grew up in Bartlesville and graduated from Bartlesville High School.
Grover was a warm, generous, and kind-hearted man. He loved to help people and would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it. He also had a great sense of humor that could bring a smile to anyone’s face. In his free time, Grover enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was fishing, camping, hiking, or hunting deer. He loved to spend time with his family going to the park, playing Bingo, and visiting the zoo. Grover also helped with the local Boy Scouts Troop. On June 10, 2023, Grover married Loretta (Lamothe) Switzer. He was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.
Grover will be missed by all that knew him and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his father: Grover George Odell, Sr.
Those left to cherish the memory of Grover are his wife: Loretta Switzer-Odell; his stepdaughter: Kaitlynn Switzer; his mother: Pansy Odell; and his siblings: Buster Odell, Billy Odell, and Loretta Marshall; and many friends.
A viewing for Grover will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home. A memorial service will be on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Spirit Church in Bartlesville.A dinner will follow the memorial service for family and friends at the Bingo Hall (Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 610) at 110 W 2nd St, Bartlesville, OK 74003.
