Gina Lynn Schnelly-Bartz, of Bartlesville, OK, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, at the age of 58. She was born on July 9, 1967, at the Claremore Indian Hospital in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Michael Schnelly and Susan (Sumpter) Cade. Gina was an Air Force military dependent and attended schools in Yakota AFB Japan, Ellsworth AFB, SD., Offutt AFB, NE and Caney Valley Public Schools in Caney, Kansas.
Gina worked at the National Capitol YMCA in Washington, D.C. and lived in Gaithersburg, Maryland, where she met and married her husband, Paul Bartz. They had one son, Damian Scott Bartz.
Moving to Caney, Kansas, she was able to spend time with her grandmother, Nancy Falleaf. Gina enjoyed spending time with her. Together, they enjoyed taking drives to look at flowers and revel in each other’s company. Gina was an avid animal lover; everything from birds, ferrets, raccoon and a dog breeder of Pomeranian dogs.
She was a member of the Delaware Tribe of Indians and a member of the Turtle Clan and enjoyed participating in cultural activities. Gina will be missed by all who loved her.
Gina is preceded in death by her grandmother: Nancy K. Sumpter; her brother: John Scott Randoll, and her uncle: Billy Dean Burns.
Those left to cherish the memory of Gina are her mother: Susan Cade; her son: Damian Scott Bartz; her brother: Levi Randoll; her sister-in-law: Lisa Wallace; her nieces: Mira Sage Randoll and Cora Alenaquah Randoll-Nelson; her uncles: Mike Scott Sumpter, Matthew Sumpter, John Wesley Sumpter, Quinton Sumpter and Joe Camp; and her aunts: Nancy Ann Sumpter and Brook Camp; and Gregory Randoll.
A graveside service for Gina will be held at Fall Leaf Cemetery in Copan on Tuesday, June 23rd at 10:00 a.m. Dinner will be held following the graveside service at the Delaware Tribal Center, 5100 Tuxedo Blvd. Bartlesville, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemoriesbartlesville.com.
