Eileen Ann "Lola" (Kelley) Willoughby Dunlap Norfleet

Bartlesville, Oklahoma

Eileen Ann “Lola” (Kelley) Willoughby Dunlap Norfleet was a native of New York, she was born on June 8, 1937, to James William and Irene Ruth (Stage) Kelley.

She married Morton Willoughby on June 25, 1957. In 1964, the couple moved to Jenks, Oklahoma, to raise their family.

Lola, as she was called, made a career of working for several large grocery store chains like Safeway and Best Yet, where she worked for 14 years in Bartlesville, OK. In later years, she was employed by the Marriott Corporation and managed the Phillips Cafeteria in Bartlesville. Lola was preceded in death by her husband Morton on June 7, 1991.

In 1992, Lola met and married Kenneth R. Dunlap. The couple lived in Wichita, Kansas, while managing a Motel Six together. They returned to Dewey in 1995 and began employment with the Corps of Engineers. Lola and Kenneth worked as gate attendants at Lake Eufaula and Big Hill Lake near Cherryvale, KS. They worked in this position for nine years before retiring in 1999 together. Kenneth preceded her in death on July 7, 2007.

Lola continued to make her home in Dewey and later met and married Stanley E. Norfleet on July 19, 2015, and resided in Bartlesville, OK, happily until her death on August 11, 2025. Lola was a former member of the United Methodist Church in Dewey, OK. She was also past president of the UMF or “Friendly Folk”. She was an honorary active member of the Methodist Women. Lola was also active in the Dewey Lions Club, the Dewey Civic Association, the Dewey Order of Eastern Star Chapter 312 and served as past matron as well as being a dual member of the Bartlesville OES Chapter 142. Lola also held a lifetime membership with the American Ex POW’s Tulsa Chapter. As you can see, Lola had a heart for people, and her spiritual gift was the gift of service.

She is survived by her husband: Stanley Norfleet of the home; her son: Morton Willoughby and wife, Tina of Tupelo, Mississippi; her daughters: Marguerite Parker and husband, Ricky of Vian, OK; and Michelle Robertson and her husband, Curtis of Tyro, KS; and a stepson: Scott Norfleet of Bartlesville, OK.

Lola had five grandchildren: Ann, Tessa, Christen, Peyton, and Chance; five great- grandchildren: Craig, Acea, Ledger, Kylie and Clancy; three brothers: Richard, R. Kelly of Frederick, MD, Wayne Kelley of Balston Spa, NY, and James Kelley of Schenectady, NY.

In addition to her mother and father and two husbands, Lola was preceded in death by her sisters: Patricia Hardy of Nassau, NY; Kathleen Lince of Balston Spa, NY; Lorraine Rettinger of New York; and brothers: John Kelley and James P. Kelly.

A funeral service for Lola will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Dewey United Methodist Church, 618 N Delaware St in with Pastor Tari Carbaugh officiating. Interment will follow at the Dewey City Cemetery. After the interment, there will be a dinner at the Dewey United Methodist Church. Visitation will be at the funeral home 9AM—8PM, Thursday, August 14, 2025, with family receiving guests from 6PM-8PM.
