Duane Earle Fifer

Duane Earle Fifer, 71, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, at his residence in Bartlesville.

Duane was born on February 10, 1954, in Garrett, Indiana, to Marion Fifer and Geraldine (Simpson) Fifer. He went on serve in the United States Air Force. He married Rita and although their marriage was unsuccessful; from that marriage, they had three children: Lawana, Angela, and Duane Jr.

He met the love of his life, Oulayvanh “Julia” Khoeasa, while living in California and after being together for several years, the couple married in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 25, 2023. Duane and Julia made their home in California and more recently, Bartlesville.

Duane worked in transportation, working as a truck driver. He was a manly man and loved all things manly. In his free time, Duane enjoyed fishing, hunting, racing, and poker. He believed that Saturdays were for fishing and was an avid fan of Nascar. Duane and Julia enjoyed traveling together. Some of the most memorable trips included a trip to Australia and a trip to Europe, visiting Vatican City and the Plaza. Duane had a big heart and loved deeply, and was a man that would be there if someone was in need. Duane enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren and will be missed by all who loved him.

Duane is preceded in death by his father: Marion Fifer; his beloved mother: Geraldine Fifer; his third wife: Kathy; his daughter: Angela and his half-brother: Terry.

Those left the cherish the memory of Duane include his wife: Oulayvanh “Julia” Fifer; his children: Duane Fifer, Jr and wife, Barbara, Lawana Fifer, Syndney Khoeasa and Souky Khoeasa; his grandchildren: Iesha Smith, Jobe D. Smith IV, Brooklynn Fifer, Abigail Khoeasa, and Souky Khoeasa, Jr; his great-grandchildren: Levee Smith, Jeremiah Contreras, and Rogue Smith; his brothers: Lonnie Fifer and wife, Cathy and Michael Fifer; his sister: Sue and his half-sister: Cathy.

Funeral services for Duane will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 23, 2026, in the Chapel of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the White Rose Cemetery in Bartlesville, under the direction of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
