Cynthia Dieterich-Lee

November 11, 1946 — May 9, 2020

Cynthia Jean Dieterich-Lee, 73, passed away on May 9, 2020 at Landmark Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

Cindy was born on November 11, 1946 in Elgin, Illinois.  She was the daughter of Roy A. Dieterich and Wanda M. (Haut) Dieterich.  Cindy was united in marriage to David Lee on September 28, 1984. They enjoyed traveling, and spending time at both of their residence, one Grove, Oklahoma, the other in Casa Grande, Arizona.  Cindy worked as an Administrative Assistant for a number of years.  She was a very strong Christian and shared her love of the Lord through her singing. Her singing also gave way to travel.  With the Bethany Bible Church Choir, she traveled to England and sang in several cathedrals.  She was also part of a Tulsa Choir that sang in New York City.  Cindy enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her pets.  She had just taken up playing golf and was learning how to bowl. She’s proof you’re never too old to learn new things.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents.  She leaves behind her husband David, three children; Shannon Lee Heather Lee-Owens, and Christopher Lee, two brothers; Jerry Dieterich, SR, and Scott Dieterich.
