Connie Jo Duffield, 77, of Miami, Oklahoma, and formerly of Bartlesville, passed away early Saturday morning, November 29, 2025, at her home.
Connie was born to Gladys Hensley Moore on June 12, 1948, in Bartlesville. She was raised by her adopted parents, Plummer Smith and Zeola (Early) Smith. Connie grew up in Bartlesville and was a 1966 graduate of Bartlesville College High School. She married Lloyd Lee Duffield on October 2, 1967, in her hometown. Connie moved to Tahlequah, Oklahoma in 1998 and in 2020 came to reside in Miami.
During the course of her life, Connie worked as a childcare professional with Concern Child Learning Center. She also worked at Bill’s Supermarket for several years.
Left to cherish Connie’s memory are her children, Zeola Johnson and husband, Amos of Miami, Mark Duffield and wife, Sara of Clarksville, Tennessee, Martha Chrisman and husband, Max of Fairland, Oklahoma and Lloyd Eugene “Gooch” Duffield of McAlester, Oklahoma; two brothers, John “Puddy” Davis and wife, Cathy of Bartlesville, and Leon Ballard of Texas; one sister, Lela Schultz of Bartlesville; various grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd; by a daughter, Rhonda Christine Duffield and two sisters, Donna and Judy.
Funeral services for Connie will be held 10am, Friday, December 5, 2025, in the chapel of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Humby officiating. Interment will be in Bartlesville’s White Rose Cemetery. To leave an online condolence, visit www.honoringmemoriesbartlesville.com.
