It is with profound sadness and grateful hearts that we announce the passing of Lieutenant Colonel Robert Miller, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather and great-grandfather, and a man whose love for his country was woven deeply into the fabric of his life.

Lieutenant Colonel Miller proudly dedicated much of his life to serving his country. His commitment to duty, honor, and service reflected the values he held close to his heart. He believed in the importance of serving something greater than oneself and carried that devotion with quiet strength, dignity, and unwavering pride.

While his country held a special place in his heart, his family was his greatest treasure. As a husband, he was a faithful and loving partner. As a father, he offered guidance, encouragement, and an example of strength and integrity. As a grandfather and great-grandfather, he found immense joy in his family and treasured the generations that followed him.

Robert served 31 years military service and retired from Phillips. In his retirement he enjoyed working with his classic cars.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years, Margie; his children, Joey (Trish), Chris (Ally) and Mike (Greta); his 15 grandchildren, and his 10 great-grandchildren, along with other family members and dear friends who loved him dearly.

Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort knowing that Robert’s love, lessons, laughter, and memories will remain with us always.

His legacy is one of service, honor, patriotism, family, and love. The lessons he taught, the sacrifices he made, and the memories he created will continue to live on through the people who were blessed to know him.

May he rest peacefully, knowing he was deeply loved, profoundly respected, and will never be forgotten.

Viewing will begin at 11 am, Friday, August 21, 2026, at Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, with family receiving guests until 2 pm for service. Graveside services will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Lieutenant Colonel Miller will receive military honors from the U.S. Army Honors Detail.

Pallbearers will be David Miller, Josh Miller, Ben Neblett, Chris Neblett, Tyler Neblett, Matt Miller, Kevin Rosas, and Jake Helmig. Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Miller, Chris Miller, Mike Miller and Shanon Helmig.
