Christifor Charles Sears

Christifor “Chris” Charles Sears, 59, was called to his eternal resting place on October 6, 2023. Chris was born on January 26, 1964, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to Wayne and Hazel (Gavellas) Sears. He grew up and attended school in Oklahoma.

Chris was passionate about his large family, being one of 13 children.  He was loved by all.  He spent his working years in the oil industry.  In his free time, he loved riding his motorcycles, writing poems, and in recent years had become a Delaware Tribal Artisan.  His artwork is displayed at the Ewing Township Historic Preservation Society in New Jersey. 

Chris is survived by three children; Tabitha Barnes, Dustin Sears, and April Moon Ridenour Sears, six grandchildren; Craig Barnes Jr., Riley Barnes Edwards, Daelin Sears, Annabelle Sears, Jarek Edwards, and Maci Artherton, father; Wayne Sears, Siblings; Bryan, Jeff, Tim, Jodi, Rick, Sherri, Kimberly, Katie, Jason, Maggie, Jessica, and Van, and multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his mother; Hazel, sister; Roberta, and brother; Arnold.
