Ada Reynolds

December 29, 1933 — April 25, 2020

Ada Rachel Reynolds, 86, passed away on April 25, 2020 at her residence in Colcord, Oklahoma.

Ada was born on December 29, 1933 in Maysville, Oklahoma.  She was the daughter of William Long and Ella Mae (Trout) Long.  Ada was united in marriage to Charles F. Reynolds on December 18, 1959 in Bentonville, Arkansas.  Ada was a “hard worker”, working on their dairy farm, raising chickens, and operating a tire shop in Gravette Arkansas.  Ada also known as “Pistol Annie”, wasn’t easily intimidated, and could take care of herself.  Even though Charles and Ada didn’t have children of their own, she was the matriarch of the family.  Ada’s home was always filled with nieces and nephews over the weekends and during the summers.

Ada was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.  She is survived by 60 nieces and nephews, most of which she helped raise.
